Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP), Registered Nurses, and trained healthworkers provide care and counseling.

- Pap Smears
- Birth Control
- Vaginal & urinary tract infection treatment
- PMS consultation & referrals
- Mid-life changes/menopause counseling
INSURANCE COVERAGE
We accept Anthem/Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna Healthcare, and NH Medicaid and Healthy Kids for gynecological services.
For clients who have other insurance coverage, we require that payment be paid in full at the time of service. We will submit claims on their behalf.

Surgical Abortions
Surgical abortions, available by appointment only. All procedures are done under local anesthetic using vacuum aspiration and are performed by a board certified licensed physician. Each woman is provided information and support throughout the entire time she is at the health center. Post-abortion check-up appointments are included in the fee.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling (603) 436-7588. Staff is available to make appointments Mon, Tue & Thu, Fri 8am - 5pm. Wed 8am -7:30pm.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
We accept Anthem/Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Cigna Healthcare for surgical abortions under the terms of your plan.
For clients who have other insurance coverage, we require that payment be paid in full at the time of service and we will submit claims on their behalf.

| Medical Abortion -- by Pill
Medical abortions are between 5 and 7 weeks pregnant and are by appointment only. Each woman is provided information and support throughout the entire process. An ultrasound to ensure a uterine pregnancy between 5-7 weeks gestation and follow-up exam are included in the fee.

Health Education
In keeping with our commitment to community health education, staff members are available to speak on a variety of topics including: contraception, abortion, menopause, lesbian health, the women’s health movement, teenage sexuality, STD/HIV/AIDS, and safer sex risk reduction. Contraceptive Counseling and Pregnancy Testing
Individual counseling on birth control options is available by appointment. The pros and cons of a variety of contraceptive methods - and which methods would best meet the individual needs and comfort of each client- are discussed.
Confidential pregnancy testing is available without an appointment during regular clinic hours. In-depth pregnancy-options counseling is available by appointment to support the right of each woman to make her own informed decision concerning her pregnancy.

Morning After Pill (MAP or Plan B)
MAP, also known as Plan B or emergency contraception, can prevent a pregnancy after contraceptive failure, unprotected sex, or sexual assault. It can be taken within 5 days (120 hours) of unprotected sex, though the sooner you take it the more effective it will be. You must call first before coming to the Health Center. We will see you as soon as we can.
**MAP is not Mifeprex (the abortion pill); and will not work if you are already pregnant.

Primary Care
Our Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses provide limited primary care services that include:
- Work/sports/school physicals
- Hepatitis A & B vaccine
- Tuberculosis (TB) testing
- Strep throat testing and treatment
- Ear infections

Menopause Health Care
Staff members are available to speak with clients about the changes and choices they face as they approach menopause. Clients can explore the benefits and risks of treatment options, such as conventional hormone replacement therapy, or holistic alternatives, such as vitamin, mineral, and dietary supplements.

HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing
Confidential testing for antibodies to the HIV virus is done at weekly walk-in clinics, and by appointment. The testing, for both women and men, includes individual counseling with a male or female counselor.
We offer two types of HIV tests:

Rapid, oral test that produces a result on-site in 20 minutes

Standard blood test. Results are available within two weeks and are given in person at the Health Center.

- 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (HIV intake)
- 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM (HIV results)
Intake and Results by Appointment:
- Wednesday
- 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Thursday
- 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday
- 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Under no circumstances do we give out HIV results over the phone.

Sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinics for women and men
Walk-in clinics for women and men are scheduled weekly, or appointments can be made by phone. Diagnosis, treatment and individual counseling are provided in a safe and confidential environment.
Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Walk-in Clinic Wednesday: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM (STD intake)

STD results may be given over the telephone.

- Routine Screening (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis) $35
- Sliding Scale is available for routine screening
- Herpes Western Blot Serology with typing $60
- Herpes Culture $50
- Hepatitis A, B and C $25 each

Ultrasound
Ultrasounds are available by appointment and are performed by one of our Nurse Practitioners. Ultrasounds are for gestational datingand can be used for pregnancy confirmation, miscarriage assessment.
